The Easiest Method — QuikVid on iPhone Safari

Step 1: Copy the video link from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter (tap Share → Copy Link on the app).

Step 2: Open quikvid.online in Safari on your iPhone.

Step 3: Paste the link and tap Download Video.

Step 4: Tap your preferred quality option.

Step 5: The video will either download automatically or open in a new tab. See below for what to do next.

Saving the Video to Your Camera Roll

After tapping the download button, one of two things will happen on iPhone:

Option A — Video downloads to Files app

A download progress indicator appears at the top of Safari. When it completes, tap it and tap the downloaded file. Tap the Share button (box with arrow) and tap Save Video to move it to your Photos app.

Option B — Video opens in a new tab

The video plays in a new Safari tab. Press and hold the video on screen until a menu appears. Tap Save to Photos or Save Video. The video will save directly to your camera roll.

Tip: If you do not see "Save to Photos" when long pressing, tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the box with an arrow) and select Save Video from there.

Which iOS Version Do I Need?

QuikVid works on iPhone running iOS 13 and later. For the best experience use iOS 15 or later which has improved file download handling in Safari. The "Save to Photos" option when long-pressing a video is available from iOS 13 onwards.

⚠️ Some videos may not download if your Safari settings block pop-ups or automatic downloads. Go to Settings → Safari and make sure "Block Pop-ups" is turned off, and that "Downloads" is set to "On My iPhone" or "iCloud Drive".

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do downloaded videos go on iPhone?

Videos download to your Files app (in the Downloads folder) or directly to your Photos app depending on your iOS version and how you save them. Check both locations.

Why does the video open instead of downloading?

This is normal Safari behaviour. When a video opens in a new tab, long press it and tap Save Video to save it to your Photos app.

Can I download videos using the iPhone Chrome app?

Yes, QuikVid works in Chrome on iPhone too. The saving process is similar — the video will download to your Files app and you can move it to Photos from there.
